MARDEK - Coming Soon to Steam!

MARDEK is now set to Coming Soon on Steam!

You can't buy it yet, but you can add it to your wishlist.

The earliest release date I could set it to - given Steam's 'at least two weeks after Coming Soon' restrictions - was the 3rd of June, so it's set to that. Much later than I'd like, but there's nothing I can do.

This whole process has taken much longer than I would have liked, but we got there in the end! Well... assuming it all works once people can play it. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, but there've been so many setbacks already that it would just be typical, really!

I should probably spread the word, but I don't know whether to wait until it's actually available to buy first. What do you think?



There's a trailer on the store page, which took a few hours to make. I quite like how it turned out, all things considered! Hopefully it represents the game well enough!

I think the last little exchange sums up the entire experience really well: it shows the real-world cultural climate it was made in, the type of humour it uses, and if used out of the original context and applied to the game as a whole, it encapsulates the moral ambiguity, uncertainty, and dubious actions of the main story surprisingly well.
