UFO/UAP Stuff: Respected US Military Whistleblower Reveals Crash Retrieval Programs; Crop Circles
2 years ago - Edited 2 years ago739 words
Is disclosure just around the corner, just like it is every time some ostensibly big imminent reveal gets r/UFOs a buzzin'??
So the story
this time is... well,
∞ here's the article ∞. I asked ChatGPT to summarise it, but even the summary felt overly dull to me - as the endless bureacracy of this topic generally does - so here's my own summary:
A fancy-pants highly-regarded military guy - with a bunch of other reputable people vouching for him - has testified to Congress that there are hidden sections of the US government that are in possession of crashed alien ships. An interview with him should be out in the next day or two, and the US Department of Defence gave him the OK to say what he wants to say in it.
Over on r/UFOs, I'm seeing a lot of responses suggesting that this is a big, big deal. I also watched at least some of
∞ a talk between two journalists ∞ - one of whom conducted the interview with the whistleblower - where the use of the word
urgent stood out to me.
So maybe we'll see some major announcements in the global news over the next week that'll force us to completely revise our conception of humanity's place in the universe!!
Or maybe it'll fizzle out and be quickly forgotten, like every other time something like this happens. Gets tiring!
Also, I can't remember whether I've mentioned it on this blog before, but a YouTube channel called
The Why Files has quickly become one of my favourites since I discovered it a few months ago. It reports about supernatural/paranormal stuff, but without obnoxious spooky X-Files music or a mocking tone, and the episodes generally end with a debunking if it's warranted.
The most recent one was about crop circles, which most people likely believe are proven hoaxes and would regard anyone taking them seriously with ridicule.
That video talks about details I never knew before, like that the phenomenon actually
was taken seriously decades ago... but became the subject of ridicule following a huge-scale attempt to film the formation of a crop circle, which was embarrassingly ended by vandals who somehow evaded notice despite cameras everywhere... though the whole thing's apparently really fishy when you look into it.
There's also
∞ this video I saw on Reddit ∞, which begins with some eye-rolling lights in the dark sky which could be anything (I have zero interest in vague sky dots), but around 3:25 it changes to a video of someone wandering around a 'real' crop circle, and the way the crops are laid down - flowing like water, with some currents flowing under others - or elaborately knotted seems like it'd take a prohibitively high amount of time and effort for humans to pull off.
(There are other physical markers too like burst stems, detectable radiation and metal(?) particles which set the 'real' crop circles apart from man-made ones; the Why Files documentary goes into that.)
The video ends with an aerial view of that
real alien arty message, which looks like this:
HMM.
(Though I don't even know if the title of that Reddit post matches that specific crop circle based on trying to find this image via google, but WHATEVER.)
As always, I post about this topic because I find it amusingly intriguing, but I'm bracing myself for the usual hostile scepticism from people who don't want to look like gullible fools. I myself have no cool, calm, collected, on-the-ball, not-a-nut self image to spoil though so I can ramble about this with impunity!
Maybe THIS WEEK there'll be aliens talking shaking hands with Current American President though!! Wouldn't that be something?!
(If that DID happen, I wonder how small of an impact it'd even make! Would people scroll past it, raise an eyebrow, then immediately scroll further and laugh/wank at videos of cats in bikinis or whatever??)
EDIT: A news report about it with a very brief snippet of what was apparently a 7-hour interview:
Supposedly the full interview will be released in the coming days, and I'd be surprised if no other news networks ran stories about it.
